Music master Abdelkader Toumi buried in Constantine

Music master Abdelkader Toumi, who passed away at the age of 99, was buried in Constantine on August 23. Info Soir reports that Toumi was an expert of the Arab language and a prominent name of Malouf (Andalusian) music. The Algerian Minister of Culture, who sent a message of condolences to the family of Abdelkader Toumi said, "It is with great sorrow that I learned about the loss of the great artist Abdelkader Toumi. He will always remain as a symbol of artistic talent with the contribution he made to malouf."
