Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah said his group will do all it takes to win the release of Lebanese prisoners held in Israeli prisons, including kidnapping Israeli soldiers.
Nasrallah was speaking Saturday at a Beirut rally marking the one-year anniversary of a hostage deal with Israel, in which Hizbullah and Israel exchanged hundreds of Lebanese and other Arab prisoners for kidnapped Israeli Elhanan Tennenbaum and the bodies of three Israeli soldiers Hizbullah abducted back in 2000.
"Everyday, the Zionist enemy declares that the Hizbullah leadership has taken a strategic decision to capture Israeli soldiers," Nasrallah said during a rally south of Beirut. "I confirm that all options are open."
Meanwhile, Lebanese newspapers As-Safir and Al-Mustaqbal reported that Nasrallah was to announce details regarding the second stage of a prisoner exchange deal with the Jewish state. However, such details were not mentioned in the speech.
