As part of their “Kia Charity and Care” international campaign, National Arab Motors (Kia Jordan) organized a visit to the Children’s Museum in Amman for the students of Najib Province School in Jerash and the children of the SOS Village.
National Arab Motors Kia-Jordan had adopted Najib Province School as part of its participation in the Madrasati initiative and has a long track record of support geared towards the homes of the SOS Village. During the visit, the participating children were accompanied by members of the school’s teaching staff and National Arab Motors’ Vice Chairman Nihad Zacharia. National Arab Motors chose to organize this initiative as part of its long-term corporate social responsibility strategy, through which the company aims to support the various segments of the Jordanian community.
The visit comprised of a number of educational and entertaining activities, including a comic musical performance organized by the Children’s Museum, in addition to a tour of the museum, during which the students were introduced to the various tools and mechanisms employed by the museum’s staff to teach children and instill in them a yearning for knowledge and exploration through interactive experimentation. National Arab Motors Kia-Jordan distributed symbolic gifts to the participating children and the school’s staff, concluding the visit with a series of commemorative photo shoots.
Commenting on the visit, Zacharia said: “Our objective from this visit was to bring some joy to the lives of these students and give them a day of extracurricular activities. This visit was organized with the intent of developing their learning skills and introducing them to essential tools that would bolster their cultural awareness and broaden the horizons of their thinking.”
The participating children and their supervising teachers expressed joy at the chance to participate in the entertaining and educational visit, thanking National Arab Motors for their candor and support.
