National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), the number one bank in the UAE, has announced today the appointment of Saeed Husain Al Khouri as head of its Elite Banking department.
Kouri, a UAE national, has graduated from California State of Los Angeles University, USA, with a degree in Marketing and Management. In addition to his extensive banking background in UAE, Kouri has a wealth of experience gained from his previous work in the private sector.
In his new role as head of NBAD’s Elite Banking department, Kouri will be responsible of meeting the ever-expanding demands of high net worth customers (HNW), to diversify the services offered to VIP customers and envisage tailor-made solutions to meet their private banking and investment needs.
Commenting on Kouri’s appointment, Mr. Saif Ali Munakhas Al Shehhi, General Manager, Domestic Banking Division, said, “The appointment of Mr. Kouri comes in accordance with NBAD's policy of nationalization and its continuous efforts to ensure progress within the bank.”
“During the last three years, NBAD’s Elite Banking department has managed to attract more high net worth customers in the UAE with its highly professional and rewarding services and products. Having a thorough knowledge of wealth management in addition to extensive banking background, Al Kouri is the ideal person to handle this challenging job”. Al Shehhi Added.
Al Khouri commented, “With the continuous growth of UAE economy, the number of high net worth customers is increasing annually, a matter which requires us to exert more efforts so as to meet their demands and offer them the best of services available in the market.”
