The US warplanes launched Wednesday a new attack on the Afghani capital, Kabul for the fourth consecutive day.
Al Jazeera satellite channel showed live footage of the attack. Anti-aircraft batteries lit the dark skies as US aircraft were shelling different site of the city.
The station’s correspondent saw bombs fall on the city's airport, which has been under heavy attacks since the launch of the war, in retaliation for the September 11 terrorist attacks on New York and Washington.
The ruling Taliban government said Wednesday that 70 civilians were killed in the past three days, and 100 injured.
