ALBAWABA - A New York Times investigation revealed that the footage used by the Israeli Army to support its claim that the missile that led to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital massacre was fired from Gaza was deceptive.

"The footage has become a widely cited piece of evidence as Israeli and American officials have made the case that an errant Palestinian rocket malfunctioned in the sky, fell to the ground, and caused a deadly explosion at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City," the New York Times said in the investigation.

The indiscriminate attack on a medical facility raised serious humanitarian concerns, amplifying the urgency for international intervention to address the escalating crisis in the region.

The New York Times released an extensive visual investigation suggesting that the video clip, which was recorded from an Al Jazeera television live stream on the night of the atrocious massacre shows the contrary of what Israeli media was promoting.

Israel was floundering in its statements regarding the airstrike of Al-Ahli Hospital in the Gaza Strip. Different fake theories were made to cover up Israel's responsibility for targeting the Gaza hospital.

An Israeli airstrike at Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza killed over 500 Palestinians raising the total death toll in the strip to 3,500, According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Hamas operation against Israel

Hamas military group announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel which is the biggest offensive in decades.

Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel and others paragliding into occupied territories.

In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
