The Nissan Altima 3.5 SE has been declared the most powerful front-wheel drive Japanese sedan in the Middle East market by car enthusiasts in the region.

The 3.5-litre Altima, mated to a manual transmission, is the most powerful front-wheel drive Japanese sedan, boasting an unprecedented 257bhp at 6,000rpm and 37kg of torque at 4,800rpm.
Of all Japanese competitors in the region, the Nissan Altima offers a 3.5-litre V6 engine, based on the 12-time Ward’s Best Engines award-winning Nissan VQ engine, which also features in the Nissan Maxima, Murano and the crowd favorite 350Z.

“Nissan has a strong heritage of delivering high performance and high response engines for its vehicles” commented Monal Zeidan, Senior Manager, Marketing and Corporate Communications Departments at Nissan Middle East. “It’s easy to see why our products are so popular – we offer quality products, chalked full of features, and as always safety and performance oriented” continued Zeidan.

The sporty look 3.5-litre Nissan Altima with 6-speed manual transmission comes equipped with Nissan’s Traction Control System (TCS) for better road handling on slippery surfaces, Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) for increased braking potential and advanced suspension for better handling and stability on corners. ABS and power-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes come standard, as well dual-stage supplemental airbags with seat belt pre-tensioners and zone-body construction for maximum passenger safety.
