ALBAWABA - Hamas issue a strong warning against potential violence and loss of innocent lives at Jerusalem Hospital due to actions by the occupying forces. It is a global responsibility to intervene and prevent further aggression against defenseless children and civilians.
The recent demand from the Zionist occupation for the immediate evacuation of patients and the wounded from Jerusalem Hospital, coupled with the relentless shelling of neighboring structures,are unjustified war crimes.
Furthermore, threats to target the Orthodox Cultural Center and the Greek school serve as a troubling precursor to a potential catastrophic event involving patients, the wounded, and approximately 14,000 displaced individuals seeking refuge at the Jerusalem Hospital, along with another 1,500 displaced persons at the center and the school.
In light of the ongoing relentless bombings and inhumane Israeli aggression against vital aspects of human existence, as well as the persistent threat to evacuate our Islamic and Christian institutions, Hamas urgently call upon all nations and international organizations to take immediate action.
This action is essential to protect hospitals that serve a critical humanitarian role in saving the lives of over two million Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip.
This also includes safeguarding places of worship, both mosques and churches, and the various institutions vital to the Palestinian people. These actions are an expression of respect for divine laws and adherence to international norms and laws.
