The Sultanate of Oman will host the sixth banking conference of the AGCC states at al-Bustan Palace Hotel between October 26 to 27.
The premier regional event will be organized by the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) in conjunction with the Sultanate's banking sector, according to ONA news agency.
Banking and financial institutions from the AGCC states and from around the globe will attend the conference, which is to discuss the Basle Committee's new measurement for capital adequacy, management of financial and banking institutions, financial services liberalization, fighting money laundering and financing tourism and the single Gulf currency.
