Lt. General Khamis bin Humaid al Kalbani, Chief of Staff of the Omani Sultan Armed Forces, left Muscat for Manama Monday, leading a high-ranking military delegation to attend the 9th meeting of the high committee assigned to follow up decisions on collective defense and military cooperation among the AGCC states.
The meeting is scheduled to be held in the Bahraini Kingdom between May 27-28.
Lt. General Al Kalbani and his delegation were seen off at the Seeb Airbase by Brigadier Said bin Abdullah al Khaifi, Assistant SAF Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning, Brigadier Yousuf bin Khalfan al Busaidi, Head of Military Protocol, Brigadier Salim bin Musallam Qatan, Commander of 23 Infantry Brigade and senior SAF officers, according to ONA.
