A Palestinian was killed and 15 others were injured as a gas barrel exploded inside a restaurant in Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
Witnesses said that a 48-kilogram gas barrel exploded in a restaurant in western Deir al-Balah City.
Muhammad al-Meidana, spokesman for Gaza civil defense teams, told Ma'an that the explosion killed an employee at the restaurant identified as Kamel Abu Shaaban, and injured 15 others.
Al-Meidana said the civil defense teams soon controlled the explosion's fire.
