ALBAWABA - As early Monday morning, displaced Palestinians were allowed to leave southern Gaza towards the north after 11 days of the ceasefire deal with Israel, agreed on Jan. 15.

The Israeli army announced also today that Israeli forces have started to withdraw from the western part of the Netzarim Corridor which is located in the middle of the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem Post reported.

Israel confirmed on early Monday morning to allow the people of Gaza to move to northern Gaza after Hamas' approval to release Israeli hostage Arbel Yehud.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office approved the deal that states the release of three hostages on Thursday and another three on Saturday. In return, Hamas released a statement confirming the new agreement.

US President Donald Trump said a day ago that Gaza is now a "demolition site" revealing that he had spoken to Jordan's King Abdullah II about moving Palestinians out to Jordan and Egypt.

Jordan's foreign minister Ayman Safadi rejected the idea proposed by Donald Trump and said during a meeting with UN peace envoy Sigrid Kaag: "Our position that the two-state solution is the way to achieve peace is firm and unchangeable. Our rejection of displacement is firm and unchangeable. This is not only a firm and steadfast position from which the Kingdom cannot deviate, but it is also a necessity to achieve the security, stability and peace that we all want."
