The opening of the Jules Verne centenary year, PanoraMagique, the largest captive balloon in the world, was launched at Disney® Village. Visitors can take to the skies to view the amazing landscape of Disneyland Resort Paris, and its surroundings.

A magic voyage in the sky above Disneyland Resort Paris
PanoraMagique gives visitors keen for thrills the chance to ascend to the skies above Disneyland Resort Paris for a 6 minute trip, by day or night. It gives an unparalleled view of the countryside 20 kilometres all around, from a height of about 100 metres.

PanoraMagique has been designed by Aérophile, the world leader in captive balloons. It is the newest and largest of theAero30 model, with 1600 m2 of fabric, 23 metres in diameter, a circumference of 73 metres, and a height of 36 metres. It has a quick mooring system and a landing platform designed specially for the Disney® lake. PanoraMagique is a miracle of technology, clean and silent, and it can be completely dismantled.

A seven-year relationship
Aérophile has signed an agreement with Disneyland Resort Paris to operate PanoraMagique for seven years, through its specially created subsidiary, Aérotourism. A team of five people (three pilots, including a site captain, and two stewards) will greet the visitors and look after them on the flight, as well as maintaining the balloon. With a target of 100,000 passengers a year, PanoraMagique should be profitable in its first year of operation.
