Canon Middle East has announced the launch of the Canon ScanFront 300 and ScanFront 300P for office departments and customer-facing environments, opening up new revenue opportunities for accredited Canon partners.
Canon Middle East has responded to increased market demands for network scanners by expanding its range with the introduction of the ScanFront 300 and 300P models. Their ultra-compact, user-friendly design and enhanced functionality is set to bolster Canon's leading position in Europe as the network scanner brand of choice for partners and customers.
The latest models follow the highly successful ScanFront 220 and 220P, offering enhanced scanning speeds of up to 30ppm in black-and-white and 25ppm in colour. The new scanner range can also distribute and share documents to a combination of email, FTP, shared folders, USB devices, fax server and printers. The new range's additional functionality allows Canon partners to offer added-value to their customers, by demonstrating the benefits of streamlined business process automation and delivering more document capture workflows within end-user organisations.
Vishal Gohel, Product Manager, Canon Middle East says, "Partners are always looking to add real value to the service they provide customers, and are increasingly viewed as consultants in information management. These new models provide partners with the opportunity to build stronger customer relationships by advising how document capture and management can help businesses streamline business processes through sharing, saving and accessing information more efficiently.
"Working with Canon can also help partners grow new revenue streams by selling into new markets and the ScanFront devices are particularly beneficial to businesses that are looking to automate processes and speed up the transfer of time-critical documents across different departments, offices or branches," added Gohel
With one of the smallest footprints in their class and a robust design, the ScanFront 300 and 300P are ideal for retail spaces or reception areas where desktop space is often limited. Users can navigate menus quickly and confidently using the intuitive large 8.4" colour touch screen, while personalised job buttons ensure swift and accurate file distribution.
The ScanFront 300 and 300P feature a new ScanFront Administration Tool for fast and effective remote management. A simple web browser allows IT administrators to deploy, update, manage, and restore multiple devices easily from any remote location, reducing IT costs and time.
The ScanFront 300 and 300P will be available across Middle East to purchase through accredited Canon partners from October 2010. Canon's successful ScanFront 220 model will continue to be sold as a cost-effective, entry-level network scanning solution.
