Jotun Paints has unveiled its latest decorative product range named Pearl. The new finish, as the name implies provides a whole new concept in decorative effects by creating a unique Mother of Pearl finish for interior walls. The first product of its type, Pearl’s distinct high quality shimmer responds to the positioning and intensity of any light source or intelligent lighting solution, allowing the soft wavy effects normally found in a real pearl to shine through.

With a reflective Mother of Pearl finish the product can be combined with intelligent lighting to create a lustrous or tranquil backdrop for a room. A standard selection of 16 colours is available although with Jotun’s Multicolour machines a further x shades can be created. Pearl is available in four colour ‘families’, Pearl Retreats, Pearl Expression, Pearl Feng-Shui and Pearl Agency. Each family offers a distinct mood and character and includes four shades, allowing aspiration to be your colour guide. Retreats with its tranquil, natural tones encourages relaxation in peaceful surroundings, Expression provides a vibrant colour range encouraging customers to express their individuality and flair, Feng-Shui offers a palette of colours designed for positive living whilst Agency provides a range of colours suited to the office environment inspiring and enlivening the work space.
The product which is a high quality water borne product has been designed for interior use and it is recommended that it is applied by a certified and specially trained painter to achieve maximum effect.
