With only four days left at GITEX Shopper 2008, the mega-event has already got visitors and Exhibitors alike singing its praises.. Exhibitors have expressed delight with the excellent sales, whilst visitors have got much more than they bargained for via some spectacular prizes, promotions, offers and giveaways that simply cannot be found anywhere else.
Being held at the Dubai Airport Expo from the 18 – 24 October, the 18th edition of this hugely popular event features over 25,000 products all under one roof, giving visitors the unrivalled opportunity to compare prices, specs and best deals from all major consumer electronic retailers. A record 172 participants, including vendors, distributors and retailers, have come together this year to provide the best consumer experience backed by easy payment options, consumer friendly schemes and offering value for money deals.
“Visiting GITEX Shopper is something that I do every year. I come mainly for the hot deals that are on offer here. This year I bought a digital camera at a much lower price than the market price, and received some free gadgets as well. Besides, being a digital gaming enthusiast, I came to check out the Digital Gaming Tournament at GITEX Digital Game World. It's nice to see young people from different nationalities and countries challenging each other in such a vibrant atmosphere" said Mohammed Shawki a visitor of the show.

GITEX Shopper 2008 will be held at the Central, West and East Halls in Dubai Airport Expo from October 18 – 24, 2008 and will open its doors from 11:00AM to 10:00PM from October 18 – 23 and from 3:00PM to 10:00PM on October 24. Off-site parking is available for exhibitors and visitors this year in the Shaikh Hamdan Mosque parking lot in Garhoud located near the Airport Expo. There will be a continuous free shuttle service between the car park and the Airport Expo from 9AM to 12 midnight as well as shuttle buses from select city points.
