Putin criticized the U.S. for increasing its military presence in Europe, where troop numbers have surpassed 100,000, accusing Washington and its allies of attempting to impose a "strategic defeat" on Russia by supplying Ukraine with money and weapons.

ALBAWABA- Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a sharp warning about escalating global tensions, emphasizing Russia’s military advancements and its readiness to respond to growing threats from NATO and the United States.

He revealed that Russian forces had captured 189 towns this year and announced that 95% of Russia’s strategic nuclear forces are now equipped with modern weaponry.

Putin criticized the U.S. for increasing its military presence in Europe, where troop numbers have surpassed 100,000, accusing Washington and its allies of attempting to impose a "strategic defeat" on Russia by supplying Ukraine with money and weapons.

He condemned the United States for fueling the conflict in Ukraine by supporting what he called an "illegitimate regime" in Kyiv, warning that this prolongs and intensifies the war.

Putin also cautioned that if the U.S. continues its plans to deploy missiles in multiple regions, Russia will take additional measures to ensure its security, including potentially abandoning its voluntary restrictions on nuclear missile deployment.

He expressed concern over NATO’s growing military expenditure and the reinforcement of combat units near Russia’s borders, accusing the alliance of exceeding its historical jurisdiction and increasing security risks.

Putin highlighted that the size of Russia’s armed forces has grown to 1.5 million soldiers and warned of an increased likelihood of conflicts erupting globally, blaming the U.S. for provoking instability and encouraging the formation of new military-political alliances.

In a televised speech, Putin vowed a "comprehensive response" if Washington deploys medium- and short-range missiles in Europe or Asia, underscoring Russia’s determination to counter any perceived threats decisively.

His remarks reflect the heightened tensions between Russia and the West, as the ongoing war in Ukraine and NATO’s military actions continue to drive global instability.
