An atmosphere of optimism and exuberance surrounded the Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone Authority (RAK FTZ) management, staff and corporate partners gathered on Thursday, 29th January at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa, for a festive Mexican themed party hosted by the free zone. It was an evening dedicated to the free zone's investors, partners and dependable team.
The event was graced by H.H. Sheikh Faisal Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Chairman of RAK FTZ and clients and guests were welcomed by the RAK FTZ CEO, Oussama El Omari. All the guests representing the total number of companies registered at the free zone who attended the event, enjoyed the different food stalls with various international flavours and live cooking stations. The party started off with a welcome cocktail reception, followed by dinner, while guests were serenaded by a Latin music band.
The gathering was an opportunity for the RAK FTZ to thank the investors and partners who have been growing and expanding their companies with the free zone. It was also a reflection of RAK FTZ's positive outlook in spite of the current economic forecast. In his speech, Oussama El Omari, CEO of RAK FTZ, mentioned that "the global economic situation might have slowed down but we are steadily pushing forward with our projects and developments."
RAK FTZ’s partners’ contributions to the economy were acknowledged by El Omari during his speech. "It is through entrepreneurship that we are able to create economic development in the emirate and transfer technical skills from your companies to the national manpower; it is through your continued growth that we can bring additional resources to the economy and ensure that we revive it to its previous healthy state," he said. He has also given the assurance that all partners and potential investors will be provided the best service expected from RAK FTZ.
Towards the end, El Omari expressed his gratitude for the partners' support and for RAK FTZ team members’ efforts that have enabled the zone to meet partners’ expectations. The event also marked the establishment of a more personal and stronger relationship between RAK FTZ and its partners as they celebrate their achievements and consolidate their efforts towards investment, stability and growth.
RAK FTZ partners and guests were very happy with the event and expressed their thanks to the management for organising the party. Guests did not leave empty handed, RAK FTZ raffled dinner and hotel vouchers as prizes on the night. Each guests also received a gift bag filled with goodies from RAK FTZ.
