RAKFTZ organized a blood donation campaign in cooperation with Ibrahim Obaid Allah Hospital

The Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) has organized a blood donation campaign for the interest of patients and those who stand in need for blood. The campaign was organized in collaboration with Ibrahim Obaid Allah Hospital.

Oussama El Omari, the CEO of the RAK FTZ said that highlighting the importance and providing support for this sort of activities, which serve the entire society, has been a top priority for the RAK FTZ. He stressed that the zone had earlier organized several other blood donation campaigns as part of the zone's societal voluntary participation.
The RAK FTZ's valued call to render service to the society was eventually met by scores of the zone's staffers, and employees of the registered companies, who turned in for contribution.

El Omari underlined the importance of the campaign, which has a deep social significance and keeps the RAK FTZ in direct and constant connection with the other public authorities in the emirate.

The RAK FTZ addresses key societal issues and pays great attention to social and medical issues just the way it handles the investment, and trade issues on its way to achieve and develop comprehensive societal vision, said El Omari.

The campaign showed many contributors aiming to ease the suffering of patients and bridging the gap for other patients who stand in need for blood transfusion.

El Omari said the turnout of the contributors would encourage the RAK FTZ to organize more blood donation campaigns in the future.
