Al-Rajwa Investments (ASNAF), Jordan’s forward-thinking and dynamic business development entity, introduced this month the world's fastest growing and third largest global tea brand to the Jordanian market “Dilmah.”

ASNAF Company, one of Al-Rajwa’s affiliates and distributor of high-quality imported commodities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, will handle the distribution of Dilmah Tea through utilizing its channels.

Being a genuine 100 percent pure Ceylon tea, the Dilmah tea boutique is brought to consumers fresh from the Ceylonese tea gardens and presented in an innovative range of herbal-tasted sensations. Dilmah tea, also known for being the freshest tea available, is processed and packaged in vacuum-sealed packets that keep the freshness in.

Mr. Muayad Dabbas, Al-Rajwa’s Founder and CEO, stated, “We believe tea consumers in Jordan will soon realize the difference that Dilmah is bringing in."
He added, "The new beverage benefits drinkers well from its dietary and nutritious significance that is matchless in other kinds of tea. Al-Rajwa is introducing Dilmah Tea for the sake of our beloved consumer’s health.”

The release of Dilmah Tea in Jordan is an addition to the beverage’s increasing list of world markets, being present in over 90 countries and it is ranked as the world’s third most selling tea brand.

Dilmah Tea is available in 22 items, including Black tea and Green tea, and it is seasoned with 12 distinctive flavors ranging from the authentic Lemon, Cardamom and Mint tastes to the complementary Orange, Blackcurrant, Strawberry, Lady Gold, Vanilla, and the Natural Spiced Berry.

Mr. Buddika Weerasekera, a veteran Tea Taster at Dilmah Company in Ceylon, pointed out that drinking fresh tea, like Dilmah’s, on a regular basis during the week preserves the human body's energy." He added, "Dilmah Tea was first introduced in 1988 in Australia, and its success lies in the brand's surpassed quality of Ceylon Tea."

World laboratories proved that inveterate tea drinkers have a lower-risk of contracting a wide array of chronic diseases such as cancer, coronary heart disease, diabetes and osteoporosis. Therefore, Weerasekera pointed out that Dilmah Company was certified with ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP for its finest production facilities.

“Tea originally is attributed to its mineral contents, being a low-calories drink and enriches the human body with its needs of basic elements. Being the most favored beverage and great thirst-quencher for Jordanians, Dilmah Tea promises its consumers to assimilate much benefit while drinking it,” Weerasekera explained.
