ALBAWABA - Controversial social media personality Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate have been detained in Romania over UK sex offense charges, police said on Tuesday.
In a statement, the police stated they had executed "two European arrest warrants issued by the UK judicial authorities for the committing of sexual offenses, of exploitation of persons on the territory of the UK".
Tate's spokeswoman confirmed that the pair had been detained. The Tate brothers are awaiting trial in Romania on separate charges of human trafficking, rape, and organizing a criminal organization to sexually exploit women.
