ALBAWABA- In response to Ukraine's attack on Belgorod, Russia has unleashed a barrage of at least 10 missiles targeting Northeastern Ukraine, with the iconic Kharkiv Palace Hotel taking a direct hit.
The devastating strikes have left 16 people injured, with 8 of them requiring hospitalization.
Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov confirmed that a missile struck the hotel, and another hit an apartment building, causing significant damage. Those injured are reported to be alive, and plans for the resettlement of affected individuals are underway.
"A missile hit the hotel and a second an apartment building. There are many injured but fortunately they are alive. People will be resettled," Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov reports.
