According to BNA, the Russian Permanent Envoy to the United nations Andre Denisouf disclosed Wednesday his country's willingness to accept whatever balanced form that would be approved unanimously on widening scope of membership of the security council.
As he addressed the United Nations' General Assembly, the Russian Envoy to the UN said Russian side sees that resolution as such needs to be politically supported by one third of the votes to approve it stressing that voting should not lead to split among the UN member states or weaken it. Brazil, Germany, Japan, India, and Japan forwarded a draft resolution on bringing six permanent members and four non- permanent members to the Security Council.
