Smasung electronics, the world leader in consumer electronics and digital technology, organized a media gathering to enhance cooperation bonds and strengthen the relations between the Samsung and the media, on Tuesday, May 4th at the Grand Hyatt Hotel- Amman.
During the event, Samsung launched the “Samsung Family” program which brings together media representatives from different media outlets (print, broadcast and online) due to their vital role in showcasing the development and advancement that Jordan has reached as a main investment destination.
In a speech to the guests, Mr. SangSuk Roh, president of Samsung Levant said: “Our meeting today comes in appreciation of your efforts in elevating media work and in honor of your endeavors in showcasing the development of Jordan, which aims to shed the light on Jordan as an investment destination for companies worldwide.”
On his part, Mr. Ismail Hourani, the general manager of Samsung Levant said: “Today, we are announcing “Samsung Family” which will bring us together through open dialogue channels and mutual benefits, in line with our desire for a solid relationship with the media.”
The gathering also included a presentation about the company’s future plans and activities in Jordan and the region. The event was attended by Samsung’s regional office managers and Samsung’s distributors in Jordan, Hikmat Yasin & Sons CO, BCI, UPB, Salbashian and Gernata.
At the end, Mr. Roh thanked the media for their attendance and expressed his hope that this program would be the first step in establishing an interactive and constructive environment for both parties.
