Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal arrived in Algiers Sunday for two days of talks with Algerian officials on the Middle East situation.
"We will work to analyze the situation in the Arab world and try to come up with some common views on what should be done," Prince Saud said in a statement, according to AFP.
In addition to meeting his Algerian counterpart Abdelaziz Belkhadem, the Saudi foreign minister will also deliver a message of friendship from Saudi King Fahd to Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika. Belkhadem and Prince Saud are also likely to exchange views on Iraq and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, according to an Algerian official. (Albawaba.com)
