Substitute Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami on Friday said that the Zionists should wait for a new Intifada. Addressing thousands of worshipers at Tehran University Campus, Ayatollah Khatami said, "Zionists should not doubt that they will gain nothing by their atrocities and they should wait for a new Intifada when Palestinians put them in a misery."
According to IRNA, he said the human rights organizations have kept deadly silence against Israel's recent action. "Humanity should think on other ways to defend their rights."
Addressing Arab states, he asked, "Why are you silent? Speaking from the standpoint of Islam, they kill your Muslim brethren and speaking from standpoint of Arab, they kill your Arab brothers."
