Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the UAE President's Wife and Chairwoman of the UAE General Women's Union, hosted in Abu Dhabi on Saturday a dinner banquet in honor of the wives of the Arab Heads of States and Heads of the Delegation participating in the Arab Women Media Forum, AWMF, according to Emirates News Agency.
Amongst the many who participated in the fancy dinner banquet were Mrs. Susanne Mubarak, Wife of President Mohamed Husni Mubarak of Egypt, Princess Lalla Hasnaa, Sister of King Mohammed the sixth of Morocco, Mrs. Fatima Khaled, Wife of President Omar Hassan Al Bashir of Sudan, Mrs. Suha Arafat, Wife of President Yasser Arafat of the Palestinian National Authority, Mrs. Ghazali Anbar Darwish, Wife of the President of the Federal Islamic Republic of the Comoros and Mrs. Laila Mousa, Wife of Amr Mousa, Secretary General of the Arab League.
Also attending the ceremony were Heads of the Delegation participating in the AWMF, a number of Sheikhas and wives of senior officials. Sheikh Fatima discussed with them means to develop the Arab women action as well as the significance of the AWMF in changing the Arab woman's stereotyped image in the mass media. (albawaba.com)
