Iranian President Mohammad Khatami in Tehran Monday led
an official welcoming ceremony for visiting Singaporean Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong at Sa`adabad Cultural Complex.
Singaporean Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong arrived in Iran Sunday accompanied by a delegation for an official five-day visit.
According to IRNA, senior Iranian and Singaporean officials are expected to hold official talks
in the presence of Khatami and Goh.
The prime minister is scheduled to meet high-ranking Iranian officials including President Khatami, First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Aref during his visit.
Goh will also pay his respects to the founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, by visiting his mausoleum in southern Tehran. He will also travel to the historical city of Isfahan in central Iran. (Albawaba.com)
