Israeli occupation forces wounded Wednesday six Palestinians in the West bank city of Nablus, witnesses and Palestinian medics said.

Witnesses told WAFA that Israeli troops thrust into the town of Beit Fourik, east of Nablus, and wounded at least six civilians.

They added that the victims were wounded when Israeli armoured vehicles randomly opened fire on houses. Medics said that the six were wounded in different parts of their bodies.

Elsewhere in the West Bank, Israeli armoured vehicles stormed Wednesday the Refugee Camp of Tulkarem, blowing up one house and imposing curfew, witnesses said.

Meanwhile, Palestinian sources reported that eight houses were demolished Tuesday overnight in the Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis. They added that Israeli bulldozers, backed by tanks, began the destruction on Tuesday overnight and pulled out on Wednesday noon.

Ismail Khdair 35, who lost his house, said that the Israelis gave him no opportunity to evacuate even important documents from the house.

The bulldozers also razed agricultural land and uprooted trees, witnesses and security sources said. (albawaba.com)
