Sorouh Real Estate PJSC, one of the leading Abu Dhabi-based real estate developers, today announced a significant new appointment to its expanding, highly-qualified senior management team.
Michael Cassel joins Sorouh as its new Director of Development and will lead the team delivering mixed use developments, whilst also working to define and shape Sorouh’s expanding property development division.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the property development and construction sectors in Australia, Mr Cassel brings a wealth of strategic development expertise to Abu Dhabi’s dynamic real estate industry. Prior to joining Sorouh, Mr Cassel worked with international property company Lend Lease on its New Rouse Hill project in the North West Sector of Sydney, where his final role saw him responsible for the residential component of the development.
Mr Cassel joins Sorouh at a time of heavy recruitment, as the company expands its workforce to cater to the growing demand for its real estate developments. Sorouh has more than 200 highly-skilled employees working in master-planning and master-development and other related fields, on some of the most innovative and important developments in Abu Dhabi.
