Spanish Deputy-Prime Minister visits Morocco

Spanish Deputy-Prime Minister Maria Teresa Fernandez de la Vega arrived in Rabat on September 26 for a two-day visit. Le Matin reports that during her visit, De la Vega met Morocco's Prime Minister Driss Jettou to discuss the present state of bilateral relations and the upcoming high-level Morocco-Spanish meeting. This meeting will be held before the anniversary of Barcelona Process, which will celebrate its tenth year in November.

Spanish Deputy Prime Minister also met Abdelwahed Radi, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, before attending the screening of a Moroccan-Spanish documentary film titled “Hanan from Morocco to Galicia”.
