A Spanish journalist, Maria Cristina Berasain, who tried to cross Moroccan border controls at Laayoune Airport, last Thursday, was deported from the kingdom.
The Spanish journalist, who at first tried to conceal her identity, presenting herself as a pharmacist coming for a holiday in Laayoune, admitted that she was a journalist in the "Berria" newspaper and that the real object of her visit was to carry out reports on the incidents which occurred recently in Laayoune.
<i>Bladi.Net</i> reports that the Moroccan border police also found in her possession "hostile documents to the territorial integrity of the Kingdom and telephone numbers of pro-polisario activists," who reside in Laayoune.
