Solaris, the region’s first dedicated sunglass boutique, recently unveiled its new ‘By Solaris’ collection, comprising an exclusive range of sunglasses at affordable prices (starting from AED 140 up to AED 460). The fashionable new line includes a wide variety of shapes, styles and colours to cater to all ages, tastes and lifestyles.
This year, in keeping with summer trends and spirit, the theme of the new collection is called ‘Cool Miami’. The range is designed annually and created in collaboration between Solaris and several French eyewear designers, such as JF Rey and Beausoleil, well-known in the industry for their innovative and fashion-forward styles.
“The ‘Cool Miami’ name fits the collection perfectly, as it is really ‘Cool’. We are witnessing the 70’s come-back in overwhelmingly popular Wayfarer shape, vintage oversized frames, gradient lenses and translucent materials, which are all this season’s trends. The collection is all about colours, especially two-tone colour combinations which is a key trend not only for this year, but also for 2009”, said Katia Andrejev, Brand Manager, Solaris Middle East.
All models of ‘By Solaris are made to perfection. The newest and most popular addition is the line at only AED 460 with Polarized lenses. These lenses provide outstanding ease of vision, sharper perception of contours and colors and eliminate up to 99.9 per cent of the glare, which makes them excellent for water or snow activities.
The little ones, whose eyes are especially sensitive to glare, also have their share from Solaris summer collection. Knowing that sunglasses are the necessity for children, Solaris has a dedicated unique range for children and juniors with beautiful colourful styles at affordable prices.
The new collection is available in all Solaris stores across the UAE for all to pick up a pair or two before going on holidays.
Solaris has a stand-alone store in Deira City Centre in Dubai, The Avenues, the largest mall in Kuwait, and Villaggio Mall in Qatar. The brand also has a presence at shop-in-shop locations in Debenhams stores in the Mall of the Emirates and Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai, and Kuwait International Airport. Globally, the brand has over 50 outlets, including Paris, Milan, Monaco and St. Tropez.
