STS, the leading IT services and enterprise solutions provider, today signed an enterprise agreement to deliver the Jordan Ahli Bank and its branches in Jordan, Palestine, and Cyprus with Microsoft advanced products and services.
The deal will see STS provide software, technical expertise, support, training and consulting on Microsoft products over a period of three years. Utilizing the enterprise agreement, STS, Microsoft’s Gold Partner, will supply the bank the option to upgrade to the latest Microsoft technologies through software assurance. In addition, the bank will avail to standardize IT choices across the enterprise so that the personnel can tap into the highly cost effective and latest technology.
“The advanced facilities that Microsoft technologies offer are significant to the bank and its operations”, stated Yousef Shukri, Assistant General Manager and Head of IT Group at Jordan Ahli Bank.
“Through the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, the staff will be able to improve and have the flexibility they need to gain easy access to highly sensitive data and better management of their every-day tasks among our entire network of branches ,” Shukri added.
The new infrastructure will also provide desktop standardization and access to Microsoft latest technologies.
