ALBAWABA - Syrian officials said on Saturday that they had prevented an alleged ISIS-planned bombing attempt at the Sayyidah Zainab shrine outside the capital, Damascus.
Suspects connected to the incident were taken into custody by the General Intelligence Directorate, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said.
According to an intelligence agency source, every effort is being made to stop assaults that target Syria's varied populations and attempt to destabilize the country's culture.
To further demonstrate the government's dedication to fighting terrorism and maintaining public safety, SANA also made public pictures of the people allegedly responsible for the attack's planning.
