At least 15 extremists were killed in military operations carried out in the countryside of Hama and Idlib provinces, a field source said.
Most of the killed fighters belong to Jabhat al-Nusra group that is leading the so-called "al-Fateh Army".
The sources reported that army units ambushed a Jabhat al-Nusra militant group in al-Qantara in the countryside of Salamyieh, to the east of Hama city.
Four militants at least were killed in the ambush and their weapons were destroyed while other fighters fled to al-Badyia (desert area).
In Idlib countryside, field sources said that an army unit carried out an operation targeting a weapon cache, that belong to "al-Fateh Army" fighters, in the village of Maaret Herme, where 10 militants got killed and the weapons inside destroyed.
Mohammad Ali al-Rashid was identified among the killed fighters.
