Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad visited Saturday the affected areas of the collapse of the Zaizoon Dam in the Gab area, where he inspected the damage of homes, farms and properties.
The al Fida daily reported that the president listened to a review regarding the damage and areas which were affected by the collapse of the dam, in addition to the procedures which have been taken to cope with the situation. He also inspected several of the field medical centers, according to SANA.
Al-Assad also met with the affected people at the camp, which was temporary built as shelter, and listened to their needs. He then ordered the authorities to meet the requirements of those people. (Albawaba.com)
