Visiting Syrian Vice President Abdullah al-Ahmar conferred Monday with Majlis Speaker Gholam Ali Haddad Adel on expansion of mutual, regional as well as international relations, <i>IRNA</I> reported.
According to the Public Relations Department of Majlis, at the meeting Haddad Adel expressed satisfaction with the ongoing expansion of ties between the two countries and termed such ties as deep-rooted and strategic which should be considered as a model for all Arab and Islamic countries.
