TBWA\RAAD - the regional MENA arm of global advertising agency TBWA (Omnicom Group) has won 2 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze Dubai Lynx Awards at last week’s 3rd Dubai International Advertising Festival, placing them second in the overall ’Agency of the Year’ rankings. The awards were earned across all advertising media demonstrating TBWA\RAAD’s wide ranging skill set. The organisers of the festival also presented TBWA\RAAD Middle East Chairman & CEO Ramzi Raad with the prestigious 2010 Dubai Lynx Advertising Person of the Year Award.
TBWA’s Gold Lynx was awarded for work on Henkel’s DAC Disinfectant product in a campaign entitled “Eat off the floor” which was entered in both ‘Print’ and ‘Outdoor’ categories. Silver awards were made for Domino’s Pizza “Hajj Nadi” interactive campaign, Nissan Altima “Recognize Early” radio campaign, Pattex “Stick Anything” print ad and the “Find Music” campaign for The Fridge. Four Bronzes were awarded to campaigns in ‘Interactive’ (Eurosport Arabia), TV\Cinema Craft (Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority) and Print (Nissan Tiida and Standard Chartered Bank).
The Advertising Person of the Year Award honours an individual, who by his\her efforts, energy and dedication has lifted the presence and profile of the region within the international advertising, marketing and communications community be it at a national or regional level.
