Iran on Monday strongly condemned a deadly weekend bombing that killed over 180 people on the Indonesian resort-island of Bali, but blamed the United States for "resorting to force to resolve international issues".

"We condemn all terrorist acts against innocent people", government spokesman Abdullah Ramezanzadeh told AFP. "Unfortunately we are observing that the terrorist acts are growing and dominating international relations", he said, adding, "the use of force by anyone with any ideology is condemned."

Ramezanzadeh said, "When a big power resorts to force to resolve international issues, other groups will also be encouraged to do so. Such incidents show how far the world needs to give priority to dialogue in its fight against violence."

Over 180 people were killed and more than 300 injured when a huge car bomb destroyed two nightclubs packed with foreign tourists in Bali's Kuta resort area. (Albawaba.com)
