The athletes of Morocco's delegation to the Islamic solidarity Games (Les Jeux de Solidaritי Islamique) continued its harvest of medals in the games, with three new medals won by the team. The Islamic solidarity Games are hosted this year by Saudi Arabia in Mecca and attended by delegations and individual athletes from 55 countries.
<i>Aujourd'hui</i> reports that the most notable achievement was that of the renowned Moroccan athlete, Khalid El Amri, who has won on Tuesday the 10.000 (28 minutes and 38 seconds) meters race and gained the gold medal. Another impressive achievement was marked by the Moroccan Karate team, which has won on Wednesday a silver medal in the Teams Contest (the fourth medal won by this team during the games). The third silver medal for the Moroccan delegation was won by the Moroccan Judaist, Abdelhamid El Hodaןfi, who took the second place in the 58kg category.
