ALBAWABA - In a recent development, the military wing of Hamas, known as Al-Qassam Brigades, sent a cryptic message to Israel, coupled with video evidence showcasing the destruction of a considerable number of Israeli armored vehicles. The message, delivered in Arabic, Hebrew, and English, carries a sense of urgency, stating that 'time is running out.'
Al-Qassam Brigades unveiled a carefully crafted video capturing the tragic deaths of nine individuals in Gaza, victims of an Israeli airstrike targeting local buildings. The video features a digital countdown from 1 to 9, each number revealing poignant images of detainees before their fateful demise. Simultaneously, the footage depicts Israeli forces targeting areas in Gaza, followed by scenes of the detainees meeting their unfortunate end due to the airstrike.
And following the authenticated video of Israel's targeting of captive civilians, Al-Qassam posted an image accompanied by a cryptic message in Hebrew and Arabic, stating, 'The choice is yours, either with gravestones or alive.'
After the video and image, a direct message from the military spokesperson of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, stated, 'The enemy continues to gamble with the lives of its soldiers held captive by the resistance, indifferent to the feelings of their families. Yesterday, it deliberately executed three of them, choosing to kill them rather than release them. This is the same blatant criminal behavior it has practiced and continues to do so against its captives in Gaza, in a desperate attempt to rid itself of the burden of this issue and its well-known obligations.'
The militant group proudly claimed responsibility for the destruction of an Israeli 'Merkava' tank, achieved through a strategically placed explosive charge. Additionally, an Israeli bulldozer fell victim to a 'Tandem' shell, while another armored vehicle met its demise after being targeted with a 'Sho'ath' charge and a 'Yassin 105' shell north of Khan Yunis.
In a detailed account, Al-Qassam Brigades shared that its fighters in Khan Yunis successfully detonated two 'thunderous' anti-personnel charges against an Israeli foot patrol consisting of seven soldiers, resulting in casualties. Swiftly responding to the rescue force, the fighters triggered a third anti-personnel charge, inflicting further fatalities and injuries.
The group went on to report the targeting of an Israeli foot patrol 'stationed in a house' with an anti-personnel shell, resulting in additional casualties.
The impactful scenes, officially endorsed by Al-Qassam Brigades, reveal a series of targeted strikes against Israeli tanks. Both the Qassam Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades jointly announced the execution of high-precision operations against the Israeli army.
