ALBAWABA- After casting his vote in Florida’s Palm Beach, former U.S. President Donald Trump projected confidence, declaring, “I am confident of winning. I think we will achieve a great victory today.”

Trump dismissed the idea of defeat, stating, “I don’t expect to lose this election,” and added, “I don’t want to think about losing.” He assured his supporters that he had a message prepared for victory but refrained from discussing any plans in case of a loss.

Trump also commented on foreign policy, emphasizing, “We don’t want to destroy Iran, but it can’t have a nuclear bomb.” He reiterated that preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons remains a priority.

Addressing the election’s progress, Trump said results should come in early tonight but acknowledged delays in some states. He voiced satisfaction with the turnout in key swing states and added, “Republicans are voting in droves.”

Trump noted his aim to “involve everyone in the American decision” if he returns to the presidency, advising supporters, “Today will be the most important day in American history, and I urge voters to cast their votes no matter how long the lines are.”

This bold confidence recalls Trump’s claims of victory during the 2020 election and his subsequent refusal to accept defeat, citing election fraud. His remarks on “fairness” as a condition for accepting results have left some questioning his response in case of an unfavorable outcome.

“I will admit losing the election if it is fair,” he stated, without elaborating on what he considers fair—implying that his victory would indicate fairness.

Trump also addressed concerns about potential unrest, describing his supporters as “not violent,” and said he does not expect violence from them, adding, “I believe there will be no violence on their part.”

As election results unfold, Trump’s statements about a historic day and his high-stakes approach have heightened both hope and apprehension among voters nationwide.
