ALBAWABA - The US President Donald Trump's envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, is set to visit Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Axios quoted an American official on Monday.

The American source also said that Witkoff will also be travelling to Tel Aviv on Wednesday to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Trump's envoy also uncovered on Sunday that he is scheduled to visit Israel to discuss the implementation of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and the exchange of the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, as well as the start of talks on the second phase of the agreement.

"The implementation of the agreement was important, especially the first step, but without proper implementation we will not be able to put it on the right track, there will be a sudden explosion," Witkoff said in a speech at a synagogue in New York.

Furthermore, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu aims to travel to the US by next week and be the first leader to meet with President Donald Trump in Washington, two US officials said.
