Within the framework of the International Year of Sports and Physical Education events and the framework of the national day of racing, the Friends of Belvedere Association (AAB) is planning to hold the first cross-country race of the park of Belvedere.
The race, which is scheduled to take place on May 15, is being organized in collaboration with the Moroccan ministry for Youth, Sports and Physical Education, the municipality of Tunis, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Tunisian Federation of Athletics (FTA).
<i>La Presse</i> reports that the 7 km race will be opened to professional sportsmen as well as to the general public, from the age of 14.
