Tunisia was the guest of honor in the Mediterranean Travel Fair, which was held in Cairo, Egypt. The fist day of the Fair was marked by a Gala Dinner organized by Tunisia on September 6 at the Nile Hilton Hotel. <i>La Presse</i> reports that the Gala Dinner was attended by Tunisian Minister of Tourism, the secretary-general of the League of Arab States and the secretary-general of the World Tourism Organization (WTO). The objective of this Fair is to bring together tourism professionals from all over the world to form a business network. Apart from Tunisia, 161 exhibitors from 28 countries, such as Algeria, Morocco, Kuwait, Greece, Turkey, Spain and Korea, are participating in the event.
