Tunisian exports increase

During the first seven months of the year, Tunisia has recorded an increase in the volume of exports. <i>La Presse</i> reports that between January 2005 and August 2005, the volume of exports amounted to 7,845.5 million dinars compared to 7,196.4 million dinars in the same period of 2004. For the first half of the year 2005, the volume of exports has shown an increase of 9.0 % while imports recorded an increase of 7.3 %. The ratio of exports to the imports was 81.4 % for January-August 2005.
