Turkish airstrike kills 34 Daesh militants in Syria

Reuters reports that Turkish military launched a drone and artillery offensive on Daesh in Syria, killing 34 militants on Sunday. 

The strike was conducted in response to a Daesh attack on the Turkish border province Kilis. Daesh launched multiple rockets into Turkey over the weekend, killing civilians. 

According to Reuters, Turkish military destroy six vehicles and five Daesh artillery positions.

The Turkish strike targeted Daesh positions seven miles south of the Turkish-Syrian border. 

Daesh has not released a statement confirming the number of casualties.
