Two cooperation agreements between Tunisia and Mali

Mohamed Ghannouchi, Tunisian Prime Minister, and Ousmane Issoufi Malga, Malian Prime Minister met Tuesday August 9 to enhance cooperation between the two countries. The Malian Prime Minister said that Tunisia is "a model of development and good governance", adding that he is pleased with the increasing bilateral relations in all the fields. He also noted that Tunisian-Malian example "must be seen as an example" of the increasing co-operation in the region. <i>La Presse</i> reports that at the end of the meeting, two cooperation agreements were singed between the countries in the fields of transport and culture. The joint Tunisia-Mali committee will meet in January 2006.
