Khalida Toumi, the Algerian minister of culture gave Wednesday a radio interview to the weekly actuality program of channel one, in the national radio. The minister, reports <i>El Moudjahid</i>, promised that the Algiers International Film Festival is going to take place in the very near future and she revealed that there is a plan to revive the Algiers International Festival for Classic Music, with collaboration of the national radio association. These two events, explained the minister, are part of the steps taken before the proclaiming of Algiers as a Capital of Culture in 2007.
